Voyado Elevate integration for commercetools

The integration enables the power of Voyado Elevate - a product discovery engine on autopilot that shows highly relevant, intent-based search results and product recommendations on your site, to be utilized together with commercetools. It will elevate the shopping experience online and ultimately improve your business by increasing conversion and sales. 

Voyado Elevate enables highly automated merchandising, relying heavily on AI to help retailers to increase their capacity, be more relevant to customers, and scale their operations in a whole new way.

The Elevate for commercetools site Integration element enables:

• Displaying the rendered content from Voyado Elevate on your site – utilizing the API endpoints, supporting numerous predefined use cases, such as autocomplete and search for products and content, site navigation and landing pages, recommendations, and checkout pages.

• Collecting behavioural data - the process of tracking user interactions (e.g. browsing of your site, clicking on products, adding products to the cart, making purchases, mark-ups of favourites), and notifying Voyado Elevate of these actions.

The Voyado Elevate integration conceptually consists of producing and scheduling updates of product data (Data Integration) and utilizing the Elevate API to send requests and provide behavioral data for relevance (Site Integration).

The Data Integration element is the automated synchronization of the product catalog (i.e. products, variants, prices, availability, categories etc.). Voyado provides you with a service integration template, that enables full and partial export of the commercetools product and category catalogue. Updates to the catalogue are caught from the messaging queues offered by commercetools, and by default include support for product and category, cart, and order updates.

The Site Integration element is the process of:

• displaying the rendered content from Voyado Elevate on your site. The API contain endpoints for numerous predefined use cases, such as autocomplete and search for products and content, site navigation and landing pages, recommendations, and checkout pages.

• collecting behavioral data, or the process of tracking user interactions (e.g., browsing of your site, clicking on products, adding products to the cart, making purchases, markups of favorites), and notifying Voyado Elevate of these actions.

The Site integration can be implemented at the front-end or the back-end, depending on preference, utilizing our java script library or our RESTful API . A set of guides are provided to help you with the integration, as is our team of technical experts.

Once implemented, all Voyado Elevate features are accessible, including radically smarter autocomplete and search, numerous recommendation types for usage in different contexts, as well as powerful product listings. All driven by several different algorithms to determine the relevance of a product given its current context, including product life cycle analysis, visitor behavioral insights, exposure strategies, merchandising actions such as promotions or demotions, as well as business domain knowledge, giving your visitors the best-in-class, all-inclusive and pure AI based digital customer experience.

Automated retargeting, i.e. email recommendations, are available. The retargeting feature can be applied on customer emails, used in newsletters, order confirmations, segmented campaign emails et cetera.
