The HOLMES search is based on open-source technologies such as Solr, OpenSearch, or Elasticsearch and provides extensive core search functionalities. A multifunctional back-office tool for configuring the search is included in the package.

Integration Description
The connector allows product data to be exported from commercetools to the HOLMES search solution. HTTP is used as the transfer protocol, and the export process is triggered via events (CREATE, UPDATE, DELETE on Products, Selections and Stores) or by directly calling the full export route to start a full export. The products data are then sent as JSON to the configured HOLMES endpoint and further processed there.
In summary: The connector acts as the link between the commercetools backend and the HOLMES Search Accelerator solution.
