The RUNMYBOT® SAP S/4HANA connector integrates commercetools with SAP S/4HANA On-Premise and SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud using REST-based, API-driven integration patterns.
For SAP S/4HANA On-Premise, integrations are implemented using REST APIs exposed from SAP via transport requests.
For SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, integrations are built strictly using SAP-released standard APIs and event mechanisms, typically deployed via SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), in line with SAP public cloud extensibility and clean-core guidelines.
RUNMYBOT® acts as the external integration and orchestration layer, handling workflow orchestration, data transformation, validation, retries, error handling, monitoring, and reconciliation logging. SAP BTP or SAP CPI can be used optionally depending on the customer’s SAP landscape and deployment model.
